Our Story
Who are we?

The African Disability Collaboration (ADC) is a coalition of non-profit organizations committed to advancing the rights and well-being of children with disabilities across sub-Saharan Africa. Our mission is to foster inclusive environments by ensuring equitable access to these children’s education, healthcare, and social services.

As a unified front of NGOs, disabled people’s organizations, and international networks, ADC leverages our diverse membership’s collective expertise and resources to drive systemic change and policy reform. We are equally committed to empowering smaller organizations by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to advocate effectively within their communities.

Through strategic partnerships, advocacy campaigns, research, and capacity-building initiatives, ADC breaks down barriers, promotes inclusion, and enhances the quality of life for children with disabilities. By empowering local communities and smaller organizations, we work together to build a more inclusive and equitable society.

Our Commitment to Change

At the African Disability Collaboration (ADC), we are committed to creating lasting change for children with disabilities across Africa by advocating for their rights, building organizational capacity, influencing policy, conducting evidence-based research, fostering inclusive communities, empowering through partnerships, continuously learning and adapting, and upholding the highest standards of mutual respect and accountability.
